Black Label
From the muddy waters of south-western Sydney, Black Label was born. The band was conceived with a deep affinity for Southern Rock, akin to Lynyrd Skynyrd together the ferocity of Australian Pub Rock, as with Rose Tattoo. As the band's name suggests, Black Label is a rare mix of maturity and the ability to stick to ideals. This has led to a truly unique sound.

Mark Johnson
Mark has been travelling the live music scene in Australia since 1979 and has toured with some of Australia's hardest working bands, such as The Bleach Boys, Bandanna, The Family Von Trapp, and The Phil Emmanuel Band.Now he's stepping out as a solo artist covering pop/rock classics of the 70's, 80's and 90's. This is just the beginning, as Mark wants to include the 50's and 60's as well, so all you old time rock and rollers aren't left on the sideline. |

9inth Division
Comprising of 6 members, 9inth Division isnt your average hip hop band.. They take traditional hip hop songs, more often than not, that have been penned by the two Emcees of the group, and the musicans put they're own individual twist on them.. Turning them from hard hitting hip hop, to a complex, hi-energy, powerful form of music unseen by the Australian Scene... Playing shows over the last 6 months has helped create a following, with many people drawn to the band because of their individuality in what seems to be a rock dominated scene.. People turn up expecting hip hop but walk away experiencing so much more.. Currently, 9inth Division are recording their first Ep as a band.. You can expect a raw alternitive sound which is unlike their more commercial/synth/polished material.. Australian Played
First formed in October 1991 by founding member and lead vocalist John Backer, Australian Played has earned the reputation as being one of Sydney's hardest working tribute/cover bands.
After numerous line up changes, a move from Adelaide to Sydney in 1995 and the occassional challenge from rival Australian Music shows, Australian Played has endured all and like the music they play, stood the test of time.
The band's current line-up was first formed in December '99 and has remained for the most, unchanged despite taking a 2 year break in July 2001 and again in 2004.
When you book Australian Played, you get Australian Played! We will never accept a booking in the knowledge that even one our members is unavailable to play on that date and hire a "fill in" player, just to get the gig. This ensures that what you pay for is what you get, Sydney's Original OZ Music Tribute. After all, there's no substitute for Quality!
